The faraway is a dreamy vintage shop featuring pieces lovingly found & carefully curated. We have new offerings almost every week online and daily at our brick & mortar showroom in Chinatown. We have been sharing vintage since 2013.

No returns or exchanges are offered, including online local pickup orders. Once you buy, it's yours!
We post flat measurements on every single listing, we recommend you compare these numbers with a garment of your own to ensure how pieces will fit. Sizes listed on the tag will not be reliable as they are from an era of sizing past.
Each piece is vintage and has lived a whole life before arriving to you, imperfections are the joy of wearing vintage, major flaws will be noted.

Where do you ship?
Worldwide. We dispatch within 1-2 days.
When will my order arrive?
Canada: 1-7 business days
USA: 4 - 10 business days
Worldwide: 6 - 12 business days
Local pick ups can come during business hours
Where are you located?
At the top of the stairs of 17 1/2 Fan Tan Alley in Chinatown, Victoria, BC. We are open every day 12-5 except Tuesday.
Is my item ready to wear?
Everything that passes through The Faraway studio is clean and ready to wear. Please ask or email hello@shopthefaraway.com for laundering advice.
Are items online also in the brick & mortar?
Everything you see online will be on the showroom floor after the online drop with some exclusions. We do not hold items.
